Retirement Thank You from Dr. Lovato

Whether it be just the past six years while I was here at HollowBrook Dental or for those that followed me for the past 20-40 years, I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the trust you put in me to take care of your dental needs. Your loyalty and trust are what made it so easy to come to the office every day to do a job I loved. As you know, I put 110% into the care I gave to you and your family.

The HollowBrook Dental patients were so welcoming to me the past six years that it made for a seamless transition for me. So, I am truly grateful for you.

Finally, to the patients who have been with me through my time with Dr. Downs and a move to take over for Dr. Scuderi, to a move back to Dr. Down’s practice and then a move forced by a fire, I am again grateful for your trust.

During all this time, many of you saw or heard about Lynn and I raising our three children and all their accolades, failures or just plain life moments. They all have families of their own now and we have five wonderful grandchildren that we get to enjoy, while watching our children raise them.

So needless to say, it is the right time for us, Lynn and I, to step back and take more time to enjoy our family. With the extra time, we plan to travel more as well. Most of you know I will be on the golf courses, pickleball and tennis courts also. You also may see me at HollowBrook Dental filling in from time to time when needed.

I would also like to thank Dr. Lee Smith and Dr. Eric Erlander for welcoming me into their practice to continue doing the work I love. I was able to get out of my practice that was sold to a corporate dental firm and work with good-hearted, honest people again. They definitely run the best practice in Colorado Springs and they, like me, strive to do the best dental work for their patients.

In the past two years, our additions of Dr. Hayden Smith and Dr. Hayley Napier have made our practice even better. They are truly skilled clinicians with huge hearts as well. They both add to the great skills already here at this practice.

Last but not least, I would like to give a shoutout to the entire team Dr. Smith and Dr. Erlander have put together here at HollowBrook Dental. We have a fantastic group of hygienists, assistants, front desk staff, administrative staff and chairside assistants. With five dentists and five hygienists, the entire team has to be on the same page. Thank you, Camille, for doing this. Well done everyone, and thank you for the support you gave me the past six years. You were truly appreciated.

At one point or another, I worked with most of the chairside assistants, so thank you for putting up with my perfectionistic ways and attitude. A special thanks to Alex, Dane, Judy and Robin for their help over the past six years.

Finally, thank you, Janis (my primary assistant), for your unwavering commitment to help me treat all our patients with the dignity and respect they deserved.

I truly know that all the HollowBrook Dental patients will continue to get the best possible dental care in a loving and caring environment. You are all in great hands!!!!
