Restore Your Smile in Just One Visit with Dental Crowns

If you’ve had a root canal treatment or you have one or more teeth with moderate to severe damage or decay, you may need a dental crown. Crowns are prosthetic teeth anchored onto your existing teeth that look and feel exactly like healthy, natural teeth. They are custom shaped to fit with your bite and color matched to your natural teeth.

At HollowBrook Dental, we have an on-site laboratory and full-time lab technicians who creates E4D dental crowns for our patients. While other dentists have to schedule an appointment to take bite impressions and send them off to a laboratory, we do the whole procedure in a single visit. This not only eliminates the inconvenience of clearing your schedule for two potentially lengthy dental visits, but it also saves you money.

Traditionally, dentists take a physical impression of your teeth using a gummy substance. This can be inaccurate and unpleasant for the patient. Instead of using this process, HollowBrook Dental takes digital impressions of your teeth and your bite impression. With laser technology, we get a more accurate impression in less time without leaving anything up to chance and without filling part of your mouth up with goop.

After the procedure is complete, your crown will be safely and permanently cemented in place. You can take care of your crown by brushing and flossing your teeth as normal and by visiting our office in Colorado Springs about once every six months for a cleaning and checkup. No other special treatment is necessary.
